Happy Birthday, Dad!

My dad turns 87 today. Happy Birthday, Dad! He likes cards that are a little "different," so I made this Spinner card for him. You can find the tutorial on SplitCoastStampers here. The birthday present on the circle Nestabilities spins across the card when you tilt it. Other than that, the card is very simple - imagine that! LOL! The background is embossed with a Sizzix folder. The sentiment is from Gina K and is mounted on Dimensionals. The matting is Pacific Point from Stampin' Up! Edited to add: I used the tutorial for the basic instructions. When I made my card, I actually just cut a slit about 3/8 of an inch wide. Thanks for the email, Linda!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Very nice card. He will enjoy playing with it probably all day and longer! Happy birthday to your dad from me too!

Another lovely card, Lynette! I love the spinner, and the bold colour scheme. I am sure your dad absolutely loved it! Happy birthday to him! My dad will be 89 in June - he loves cards that "do" things too - I made him a piano keyboard pop-up last year - you may remember that one.

So glad you like my latest zentangle! Thanks for leaving a comment.
