Another Simple Birthday

I had this die-cut stitched rectangle piece in with my ivory cardstock. I need to remember to use these stitched dies!! The sentiment is from Impression Obsession. The background (also ivory) was embossed with a Cuttlebug Anna Griffin folder and matted with black. The cardbase is ivory.

Edited to add: This embossing folder is Cuttlebug Anna Griffin Matelasse.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

The card doesn't need much design to it with that beautiful embossing folder. It is one I just had to have but haven't used as much as I should.

I love that embossing folder too! It "makes" the whole card!

The embossing really does make the card special! That's a beautiful folder which I don't have. Imagine! There are a few I don't have. The stitched rectangle goes great with it!

In my opinion, simple elegance is always the best. Love this card!

Do you know where I can find the embossing plate or what it is called? - love that and of course out of the 5000000 I have, that is not one of them. :(
