Hot Foil Christmas Card

Finally, another Christmas card! This card is 6 1/2 inches by 5 inches. I did the image using my Glimmer Hot Foil system. The sentiment is popped up. It's from Gina K and is actually silver - done with Gina's foil. There is a thin red strip below the sentiment which was hot-foiled.

Even More Dies and Foil

I pulled out this die, also, last week. It cuts the open dots. I matted with yellow and added the butterfly and the sentiment, which were both done on the Glimmer Hot Foil system and cut out with dies. The butterfly is on vellum. Both are popped up on foam squares.

More Hot Foil

These cards were both made with my Glimmer Hot Foil system. The sentiment on this first one is from Gina K. I trimmed down three sides of the image panel. Then I added thin metallic strip stickers around the three edges that I trimmed down.
I wanted some subtle color on this one, so I used my lightest Copic markers.

Hot Foil and Dies

All of these cards are similar. I used dies to cut the borders. The flowers are all from Gina K that I had made earlier using stamps, stencils and dies. I used my Glimmer Hot Foil system for the sentiments. (Some of the sentiments are from Gina K - stamped and die-cut.) Then I put the pieces together to make these cards.

More Anniversary Wishes

Same patterned paper as yesterday's. Sentiment from Gina K. Embossing with a Darice folder. I donate cards to our church to help out the library. I noticed we were out of anniversary ones, so I have to replenish the supply.

Anniversary Wishes

While I was looking through my supplies for yesterday's embossing folder, I came across this one, so I thought I would use it. It cuts out the center as it embosses the rest. I lightly ink-blended on it. I added patterned paper behind it, with a sentiment from Gina K. The flowers are ancient ones from Michael's that I also ink-blended on. I added enamel dots for the centers.

Birthday Cattails

I needed a birthday card for my brother, and this first one is the one that he got. Or hopefully will get by his birthday on Tuesday! I don't generally make cards for specific people, but I don't have any masculine cards in my stash. I ink-blended the background. For the sun, I ink-blended it on the cut-out pieces and added them back in. The sentiment is from Gina K.

Edited to add: The die is from Memory Box.

Since I had the die out, I made another card. I embossed the background with a Cuttlebug/Anna Griffin embossing folder. The sentiment is again from Gina K.

Another Hot-Foil Anniversary

Another card made using my Glimmer Hot Foil system - the bottom part is foiled. The top was embossed with a Darice folder. The sentiment is from Gina K and die-cut. The little flowers are die-cuts, also. The circle is popped up on foam squares. It's really hard to see, but there is a thin strip of black cardstock between the white embossed piece and the foiled piece.

Hot Foil Anniversary

I keep thinking that I need to sell my Glimmer Hot Foil system. I don't use it much and I don't have much for plates. But, I spent some time making anniversary sentiments and a few other things the other day. Then I ran across a couple seldom used dies and had to try those out, too. So here is the first of my latest creations.

The opening was done with a die. I embossed a piece of vellum with a Darice folder and put it behind the opening. I popped the entire panel up on foam squares. The flowers and leaves were die-cut from scraps of foiled cardstock. The sentiment is popped up on foam squares, also. I have one more card for tomorrow. I hope to get some more time and finish up some more cards very soon. It's summertime - time for golf and pickleball!

Congrats, JP!

The son of some of our friends graduated from high school this year, and here is the card that I made for him. I'm quite sure I must have made a card like this before, but this is unique with his colors and initials. :-) I used my JustRite Stamper for the stamped part. Dies for the circles. QuicKutz dies for the hat and diploma. Cuttlebug folder for the embossed background. That's about it.

June Calendar Page

Oh my goodness, it's June! How did that happen? Here is my calendar page for this month. The image is from My Favorite Things and the sentiment is from Repeat Impressions. I did the coloring with Stampin' Up! chalks. Anyone still have those? :-) That's all there is to it! Happy June!
