Easter Card-in-a-Box
A member of our stamping group had us make these cards-in-a-box while we were in Des Moines a couple weeks ago. What a lot of pieces to cut!!! Thanks so much, Vicki! She had cut all of the white pieces, the colored pieces, the patterned paper pieces and also stamped and die-cut all of the other pieces!
I finished putting mine together last night, and here it is. A very fun "card" to make.

Flower Filled #2
This is Card #2 using the Flower Filled set from Stampin' Up! For this card, I used the basket stamp and the egg stamp. I stamped the basket with Soft Suede on kraft cardstock and cut it out. I stamped the eggs, masking as I went along. I added Wink of Stella to each egg. I put one Pop Dot in the center of the top of the basket, and then glued it down. The grass was done with a die several years ago when I was at my Group Gathering. The sentiment is from another SU! set. While I was looking for the grass die-cut, I came across this previously die-cut piece of yellow, which was EXACTLY the right size for my image panel. I mounted the entire panel on Pop Dots. I embossed a piece of white for the background using a Darice embossing folder.
Stay tuned for tomorrow's post which uses one of these stamps in a totally different way:)

Easter Cards
A year ago when I was in Omaha stamping with friends, I stamped and cut out these images and sentiments. I came across them about a month ago and decided I better get them made into cards soon. Some of the images were colored and some weren't done yet. I'm sharing both of them only because one basket has smiley faces on the eggs and one doesn't:) The inside has more stamped, colored and die-cut images, but I didn't take a picture of them. The images and dies are from Lawn Fawn.
Edited to add: The background was embossed with a Darice "Basket Weave" folder. Thanks to Sheri for the use of her stamps and dies! The sentiment is mounted on foam squares. I guess I was in a hurry when I wrote this post last night!

Tags So Much - Part Two
The last two cards using the Stampin' Up! set called "Tags So Much." I inked this first stamp up with markers. It's hard to tell, but I added tiny dots of yellow Liquid Pearls to the flower centers. I matted with green and mounted on foam squares. I also added a small piece of green for the bottom layer.
I'm sure I had never posted an Easter card in August before, but I guess I have now! LOL! The sentiment is from a SU! set called "All Year Cheer." The rabbit is from the tag set. I did the little bit of coloring with markers. I added the scored lines and matted with patterned paper.

Happy Easter!
This is the only Easter card that I made. When I was in Omaha with friends, I stamped and die cut several images from an Easter set from WPlus9. (Thanks, Sheri!) I colored several pieces with Copic markers, but never got time to make them into cards. I quickly put this one together. I matted the sentiment, and I mounted the basket on foam squares. The inside includes a bunny that I colored, also.

Festive Four
These cards were all made using stamps from the Stampin' Up! set called "Festive Four." I also used Inkadinkado sentiment stamps for all of them. (Edited to add: Actually, the "Happy Holidays" is from Stampin' Up!) The backgrounds were all done using a Tim Holtz stencil (thanks, Kris) and a sponge and ink. The images were all colored with Copics and mounted on foam squares. I think that's all there is to them!
I'm making good progress on my quest to use all of my Stampin' up! sets. Hope you're not getting too bored - there is a long way to go!

Happy Easter
This is the card that I made for my dad and Jim's mom. I don't think I normally make Easter cards, but I had time this year and it just happened. The crocus (I don't really know my flowers, but I'm pretty sure these are crocuses!) and sentiment are from a Gina K set. I colored them with Copics. I scored several lines on the bottom of this panel with my Martha Stewart scoring board. I embossed the background with another new (to me) Darice embossing folder. You're getting close to having seen them all! Edited to add: Yes, this folder is called Basketweave.
