Thanks So Berry Much

When my friend, Leslie, posted a card using this die set, I knew that I just had to have it. That was at the end of June. I almost immediately made up a bunch of the die-cuts and colored them up. I used mixed media cardstock for them. And then they sat and sat. I finally used them up by making these five cards. (I should have looked at Leslie's card again to get a better arrangement of them! My cards in no way can compare to Leslie's beauties.) The die set is from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The sentiment is done with four separate stamps from Technique Tuesday.
And here are the five cards I made. A couple of the cards have some extra pieces inside of them.

Flower Stickers

These cards all use stickers from Elizabeth Craft. This first one is my favorite, and I ended up sending it to our granddaughter for her eighth birthday. (Silly Blogger - I can't take off center-justify for this paragraph!) I added two single flower stickers and colored them with Copics and matted with matching pink. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and is embossed with white embossing powder and I added a few scored lines using my Scor-Paul. I added the sentiment panel with foam squares.

Another flower sticker for this card. Again, I colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is from Papertrey. I embossed the bottom half with a Cuttlebug/Anna Griffin folder. I matted the flower and mounted on foam squares.
Another Copic-colored flower sticker:) This one is on ivory cardstock.
And one more sticker. Actually, this card is done with the negative pieces of the third card. I trimmed around the edge and used transfer tape. Again, the sentiment is from Papertrey.

Serene Christmas

Another Christmas card. They just seem to "happen." I came across a sheet of gold stickers (from Elizabeth Craft) that had just this one tree and a few stars left. I used the tree, and the stars will get put away for another time!

I added the tree to a small piece of white cardstock. I took another scrap and tore a curve on it. I rubbed the edge with Versamark and put gold embossing powder on it. I found this small Merry Christmas stamp (from My Favorite Things) and used gold embossing powder for it, too. I mounted the small "snow" piece on foam squares. I matted the image panel with shimmery gold paper and added it to a white base.

Sparkly Sticker Birthday

Okay - here is the "positive" of yesterday's Elizabeth Craft sticker. I used the same technique as a few days ago - added microfine glitter to the double-sided sticky paper after adding the sticker. I LOVE the sparkle, which you can see a little bit better in the picture on the right.

I colored the image with Copic markers and added a border along the edges - also with a Copic. The patterned paper is from Debbie Mumm (from JoAnn's a while back.) I mounted both the image panel and the sentiment panel on foam squares. The sentiment is from Verve. The inside says "a very happy birthday."

Sticker "Negative"

I have quite a few stickers by Elizabeth Craft to use up, so here is another one. You will get one more tomorrow.

For this card, I used the "negative" portion of the stamp. Makes the stickers half the cost if you can use the "positive" and the "negative." :) I stuck it to some Papertrey Ink cardstock and matted with black. I mounted that panel on foam squares. I added the birthday sentiment which I purchased a few years ago from someone weeding out their stamps, so I can't tell you who the manufacturer is.

More Card Parts

I am really having a lot of fun using more of my "card parts." One of these card parts was pretty new, but the other one has been around for a couple years.

I have used these Elizabeth Craft stickers with glitter and markers, but this time I thought I would try glitter paper. I put the sticker on the glitter paper and colored with marker. It worked fine, but I'm thinking the color is still rubbing off. I even sprayed it with hair spray. I matted with black. I found this yellow striped cardstock already matted with the black. Combined the two pieces, and voila! :) The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.
