An Everlasting Love
This card uses a die that I got from my friend in March. I think I only have one unused item/set that I received from her. I decided to make three of these cards, like I had told myself to do last year, but have forgotten about! Then I can keep one and give the other two away - to my church and to the thrift store that Cheryl donates to (and volunteers at!)
The die is from Impression Obsession, the sentiment is from The Paper Company and the embossing was done with a folder from Darice. As I think you can tell from the photos, the background cardstocks are metallic and the sentiment is white heat embossed. I also scored the lines with my Scor-Pal.

Christmas #2
Two more simple Christmas cards. They both use unbranded stamps which are in my giveaway pile now! I don't really like the stamps that came with the set. It came with dies and the tree die doesn't even match the size of the stamp! I cut it out by hand. I embossed the background on the first one with a Sizzix folder. The sentiment is from Impression Obsession, I think. The image is gold embossed and I used gold glitter cardstock.
I embossed the trees with green embossing powder and added Nuvo drops. The sentiment is from Gina K. I used foil on the pre-printed strip.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Special Day
Finally, another card. Again, time just flies by with seemingly no time to spend in my stamping room. I did get the November calendar page done for next year, so I only have October and December left. I also got my 2024 calendars printed and cut, so I'm ahead of the game there.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
At any rate, I had a little time to play on Wednesday night, so here is what I came up with. I hadn't used the stencil set from Gina K's newest release, so I decided to go with that. (I haven't used much of anything from it yet!!) I used her newest inks, also. The sentiment is from an ancient Impression Obsession set. I added a few of Gina's rhinestones. It felt good to play, but now more busy times ahead. We have our 50th class reunion this weekend. Fun!

Die-Cut Flower in Frame
Finally, a couple new cards from me. Time is just flying by WAY too fast!! Both of these were made from card parts - the die-cut flowers in frames. I simply added backing and a sentiment to each of them and added them to card fronts. This one has some ancient Stampin' Up! patterned paper behind the die cut. The sentiment is from a Stampendous set. I really like it and need to remember that I have it!
This one has glitter cardstock behind it and the sentiment is from Impression Obsession.

Celebrate!
I'm surprised that I'm still making card parts, but it happens. LOL! I had taken this Washi tape and placed it on the strip of turquoise cardstock a few weeks ago and it had been sitting on my table ever since. I finally decided to combine it with the scrap of patterned paper, since I thought it went together quite nicely. I embossed the "Celebrate" from Impression Obsession with detail silver powder and called it done.

Celebrate!
I made the background for this card with a stencil that I bought from a set on Amazon. I used it twice for added "spokes." I cut the bottom at an angle and added a thin strip of glitter cardstock. I matted with purple and added an enamel dot in the center. The sentiment is from Obsession Impression.

Shimmery Snowflakes
The snowflakes have been sitting on my stamping table for a few months, but are now gone from there. I spritzed them with some Perfect Pearls mixed with water for some shimmer. The blue snowflake paper is from Gina K. I used a die (perhaps Impression Obsession, but I really don't know) to cut the sentiment four times, with the top two layers being some ancient holographic cardstock I had. I also added a thin white strip across the top of it.

Online Spring Card Class - Day Two
I signed up for the Online Card Class Spring Camp 2 that started on Wednesday. I finally got a chance to make a couple class cards! I watched the videos very, very late Friday night when I couldn't sleep. Then late afternoon and early evening yesterday I got these cards done. I was thinking that this theme was from Day One, but it was from Day Two. Oh well! :)
As you can probably tell, the "theme" was stripes. I taped off areas of my card fronts and brushed inks on them. For this first card, I used all Gina K inks. You really can't see it at all in the picture, but I also stamped on three of the stripes with stamps from the old Stampin' Up! set called Perfect Plaids. The flower image is from Gina K. I stamped it with Versamark and embossed with black embossing powder. The sentiment is a very old wooden stamp from Hero Arts. It is also embossed. I matted with black and mounted on a white card base.

Goodness - it's November already!! Here is my calendar page for the month. The image is from a Hero Arts set. The sentiment is from Impression Obsession. I used detail gold embossing powder and Versamark ink.

Crafty Secrets Birthday
I've had this Crafty Secrets stamp set for many years, and I'm not sure I've ever used it. So, here are two cards using stamps from the same set. I really wanted to combine the stamps, but I wasn't able to do it to my satisfaction.
The first stamp I used was this ferny stamp. I stamped with green and matted with matching cardstock. I added a strip of vellum with the sentiment (from Impression Obsession) stamped on it and embossed with black embossing powder.
For this card, I used the flowery stamp. (Come to think of it, I may have used this stamp previously.) I stamped it in dark purple (Vintage Violet) on vellum. I placed the stamped vellum over patterned paper. The sentiment is done with an unbranded die and is layered for dimension. The cardbase on both cards is ivory.

Double-Flower Birthday
This is the second of four cards I made on Thursday. I had such a nice time in my stamping room just looking around and picking things that I wanted to use. :)
For this card, I used a small Papertrey Ink set. The flowers and leaves are from the set. The larger purple flower was stamped directly on the white panel. I stamped all the leaves and the smaller flower and cut them out. I mounted the small flower and small leaves on foam squares before attaching them to the panel. For the larger leaves, I cut around the flower petals and inserted the leaves. The sentiment is from Impression Obsession and is stamped to match the larger flower, and the matting is the same color.

Elegant Embroidery #1
Okay, here is the first card with my Stampin' Up! set called "Elegant Embroidery." Even though I like the stamps, I'm not sure if I'll be making more cards using it or not. I colored the stamp with Zig markers and then stamped. I added a flat shiny sticker for the flower center. I cut the image out with a stitched rectangle die and matted with green. This was originally one piece, but I messed up stamping the sentiment, so I cut it apart. I scored three lines under the image and mounted on foam squares. The sentiment is from Impression Obsession and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Cattail Birthday
A friend borrowed this Memory Box die of mine, so, while it was out, I decided I should use it. I think I'd only used it on one card so far. I'm glad that others have gotten some use out of it, too! I cut it out of kraft cardstock and placed a piece of ivory underneath the cut-out image. Then I added it to a kraft base. The sentiment (from Impression Obsession) was stamped with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Butterfly Birthday - Recycled Photo
A while back, I tried printing a photo from a program I rarely use for printing. It printed it gi-normous! I thought rather than throw it away, though, I would use it for die-cutting:) I cut this piece with a Memory Box die. I have another piece cut, also, but haven't gotten it on a card yet. I simply put it on a white card base and added the sentiment, which is from Impression Obsession. (The "B" is not supposed to have dots in the centers, but I guess I pressed a little bit too hard. I didn't mind them, though, so I left it!)

Season's Greetings
Another new die, and an older one. The new one is the scenery. The older one is the sentiment. I am quite certain, but not positive, that the sentiment is from Impression Obsession. I cut both die cuts out of silver foil cardstock. (I know - it looks more black than silver, but it truly is silver.) The background was done by rubbing the cardstock with a Stampin' Up! ink pad. I made sure to cover the bottom with ink. Another Christmas card done. I think I will make multiples of this card, but perhaps with a solid color background, rather than the inked-up one.

Pink Birthday
The last time I was in my stamping room (seems like many moons ago!) I left this card almost finished. The pieces were all done and sitting on my table. So, I took a few minutes today and put it together.
The flower and butterfly were cut with Stampin' Up! dies, borrowed from a friend. I cut the butterfly out of purple, and cut the flower out of white. I colored the flower with Copics. The sentiment is from Impression Obsession, and I cut it out with a Memory Box stitched rectangle die. The dotted paper is from Bo Bunny. I added three small gems to the butterfly.

Six Similar - But Different! - Christmas Cards
More "Group Gathering" cards:) I bought this Memory Box die set in Des Moines. I made nine cards with it and I'm sharing six of them with you today. The other three are identical to others on this page.
The panel on this first card is shimmery silver. The sentiment (from Impression Obsession) is embossed with detail silver.
I love this white-on-white one! The sentiment is from My Favorite Things and is also embossed with silver.More silver and more My Favorite Things sentiment.
I cut an oval from shimmery turquoise for this one. The sentiment is silver again and is also from My Favorite Things.
More silver:)
I used white embossing powder for this one. Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Stenciled Backgrounds
I created the background for each of these cards the same way. I used a Tim Holtz stencil, rubbed distress ink on it, spritzed it and then put a piece of cardstock on top. One is watercolor paper and the rest are cardstock. Also, on a couple, I accidentally spritzed with alcohol!
To finish this first card, I stamped the sentiment (from Papertrey Ink) and then cut it out with a Stitched Rectangle die from Memory Box. I also die-cut a piece of fun foam to mount the sentiment on. I matted the background with dark brown cardstock. I'm pretty sure I spritzed the stencil with alcohol on this one.
For this second one, I stamped the lighthouse using an Impression Obsession stamp and the sentiment with a Papertrey Ink stamp.
This one uses the same stamps, but the background is a bit different. Looks like the second "stamping" with the stencil. And for this one, I used a stamp from Inkadinkado and the same PTI sentiment.

Masculine Birthday
A quick card I made for my husband's uncle. Although it kind of looks black and white, it's actually a pretty Soft Suede (brown) and ivory. The embossing was done with a Darice border folder and the sentiment is from Impression Obsession.
