Grayscale Wax Paper Technique Anniversary

One last card using a wax paper resist panel. I don't think I've ever done a gray-scale card before. I think they are pretty cool. The stencils are from Gina K. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

More Wax Paper Technique

These cards are made with panels that I had created using the wax paper resist technique and then stencils. This first one is a gate-fold card. If you look at them closely, you can see the pattern from the wax paper.

This one is embossed and stenciled.

This one is also embossed and stenciled.

Completed Card Bases - Installment #3

And the last of my pre-made card bases. Sentiment from Papertrey Ink. Image stamp from Gina K.

Just added a layered die-cut to this one. Could use a little something more. Maybe a black butterfly in the upper right.

Same Papertrey sentiment and three nail-head stickers.

Gina K sentiment. The panels are popped up. I also added the three tiny nail head stickers.

Four more card bases made into completed cards. The sentiments on this card are from Gina K. The "wishes" is gold-embossed to match the die-cut butterflies.

Simply added a gold die cut, layered "thank you."

Bottom panel embossed with a Darice folder and lightly inked. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and is gold-embossed.

More gold die-cut butterflies and gold embossing on the sentiment from Gina K. There is a die to cut out the two-stamp sentiment.

Card Bases Completed - #1

Okay - you asked for them. Here they are - the first installment. The card bases that I had made are all completed cards now. I had received a defective stamp from Gina K and was sent a replacement immediately after notifying them. So, of course the first thing I had to do was try it out. Stamped perfectly, of course. But, then I had to use it. I remembered seeing this die-cut in my parts so I thought I would trim down the sentiment and add it. It's popped up.

The sentiment on this card is also from Gina K, as is the little flower at the bottom. I added an enamel dot to the center of it.

The sentiment on this last card is from Papertrey Ink. I added three matching enamel dots.

Four more completed cards coming tomorrow.

Another Simple Tree Card

The tree was on my table, as was the die-cut rectangle. I put them together after matting the rectangle. :-)

Lighthouse - Times Five

I happened across this lighthouse stamp from Impressions Obsession recently and left it out on my desk to use it. I stamped it five times and made these five cards. I love the monochromatic-ness and simplicity. I finished each of them off differently with different sentiments.

I still don't have my Christmas letter written and we haven't done ANY decorating! At least the cards are all ready to go. :-)

More Simple Christmas

This card is made using a die from the same Taylored Expressions die set I used for yesterday's cards. I made four of this one. The sentiment is from PaperTrey.

This card uses the same die, multiple times. The sentiment is foiled and is from Gina K.

Multiple Christmas Cards

I went to a local stamping store because they had some products on clearance for 60% off. This was a three die-set from Taylored Expressions. I thought they were fun. I made ten cards with these two dies. I will post the other design soon. The sentiment is from PaperTrey. I added a few dots with Nuvo Drops.

Scraps

I don't like to throw scraps away, but sometimes I do. These two scraps made it on to cards, though. For this first one, I simply stamped the sentiment, from Gina K, on to the patterned paper and matted with black. I embossed a frame around it by embossing a cutting die by using the rubber mat. The entire layer is popped up on foam squares.

For this second one, I used an old flower stamp from PaperTrey Ink and cut it out. I added a bit of shading. Then I added FlowerSoft (yes, FlowerSoft!!) to the center. The sentiment is again from Gina K and I again matted with black. I embossed a white panel with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and matted that with black, also. The flower is popped up with a foam square.

Sympathy Flowers

I happened across these flowers a while back and put the package on my stamping table to be used soon. Today is the day for three of them. There are more! I stamped the leaves using a Papertrey Ink stamp. The sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts.
I matted the panel and added it to my card base. The flowers are from Crafter's Square - maybe from the Dollar Tree?

Simple Flowers

Remember when I got some stamp sets from a friend - back in March? Well, one of the sets was these flower stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions. I made these up shortly after getting the set and now I have used them up. I had stamped them with black ink and embossed with clear embossing powder - or maybe black. I don't remember. I colored them with Copic markers and die-cut them. The sentiment stamps are mostly from Papertrey Ink, but the Mother's Day one is from Verve. I used the same patterned paper on each of them and added thin black strips along the sides. I used up a full half-sheet of a 12x12 piece of patterned paper! LOL! Only about 10000 to go! Or maybe more??
