Baby Boy

These scraps of blue plaids were also on my table. I matted each of them and thought they would work for a baby boy card. I dug out a set from Inkadinkado from forever ago. I colored the cute little teddy bear with Copics and popped him up on an oval. The sentiment is from the same set.

You're the BEST

The flowers were stamped with an old wooden stamp from Inkadinkado. The sentiment was from another ancient wooden stamp from Studio G. The background on this first one is a wooden stamp from Inkadinkado. I think I'll leave this stamp out for a while and use it again.

Valentine's Day in August

I got these stickers in January with my $5 voucher from Michael's. Time to put them on cards. I used my small Cuttlebug folders to emboss a frame for each of them - four hearts and five squares. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado. The stickers already had a lot of dimension.

And, all nine of them.

November Calendar Page

Here is my calendar page for the month of November. The image is from Inkadinkado. I embossed it, and the sentiment which is from Gina K, with gold embossing powder and colored with Copic markers.

Well, I'm making progress. Earlier this week, I finished up my calendars, got them put together, packaged up and even wrapped with Christmas paper. Yahoo!! Now to get on with my other tasks. MAYBE I'll even have some time to work on my "class cards." That would be wonderful.

Thinking of You

This card is another card that "just happened." I bought a big box of envelopes, and they came with clear round seals. I guess I'm supposed to put them on the envelopes after the flaps are sealed, but I'm not sure. At any rate, I wondered what would happen if I put one on a piece of scratch paper and ink-blended over it. And then, could I remove it. Yes, I could. So I put it back down and did another. Then thought, "Well, I could just as well do one more." Then a little more ink over all of it. Of course, I could not throw that away, so I added it to a piece of cardstock and popped it up on foam squares. I found a stamp set that stamps circles and squares, so I stamped on the card front and added the turquoise panel over it. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado.

"Topper" Baby Card

This is a simple "topper" card - the cardbase is totally folded across the top of the patterned paper and the circle is placed so it sticks up above the top. I had the circle on my table and found a die that would cut a piece to fit on the circle. Then I used a Nestability die to cut the scalloped matting. I added the white dots on the scallops and decorated the teddy bear with dots and plaid. I added stickers for his eyes and drew in the mouth and nose. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado, and I also added some enamel dots and embossed the white circle.

Flower Birthday in Yellow

Oh, you've seen cards like this from me so often! Sorry. I post everything I make, though, so here it is again - not quite the same as others. I love this stamp from Inkadinkado. I had these rectangles on my table from previous cards and I wanted to get rid of them without tossing them. I found the scrap of yellow cardstock that matched the size I need almost exactly. I rounded the corners on it. The sentiment is from Gina K. I was not happy when I stamped it a second time to get a darker inking and didn't push it quite up to the edge. It kind of looked intentional, though, so I just colored the open areas!

Three-Flower Birthday

And the card with the left-over three squares. The flowers were die-cut from white and had ink brushed on them and an enamel dot added to each center. The sentiment is from a very old Inkadinkado set. But, the flower die cut three flowers of varying sizes, so now I have six flowers left over to use! LOL!

"Inchie" Birthdays

Looking through my stamps, I came across this set by Inkadinkado. It includes several "inchie" stamps. Remember them? I made these eleven cards, all using the same layout - just different stamps, colors, sentiments and backgrounds. The sentiments are all by Gina K. The image panels are all popped up on foam squares. Edited to add: I forgot the main thing!! I had a whole bunch of 1.25 inch squares that I happened upon, from MANY years ago. That's what started me making these cards.

Oopsie! February Calendar Page

Oops, I forgot to share my calendar page yesterday! So here it is today. The hearts were done with Gina K stencils. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado. Happy February!!

More Christmas

Three more Christmas cards done. (I made two of the second card.) The image and sentiment are from an old Inkadinkado set. I colored the image and added the gold washi tape. The patterned paper on each edge is leftover from my last cards.

NOEL in Blue

Here is one of my recent Christmas cards. I realized that I needed to make 30 more for this year, and so they are extremely simple and I made multiples of some. I first stamped the image and sentiment on five card bases using my MISTI. Then I masked off the strip on the left and ink-blended.  Done!

Happy (Belated!) Thanksgiving

Well, I'm finally catching up a little bit. The fronts of my Christmas cards are done and I have printed the insides. The labels are printed. The letter still needs to be done, though. My calendars are finished. Yippee!! I have several cards that I can post - I just need the time to do that. So, I thought I would start with the one Thanksgiving card that I made. It comes as a result of doing my November calendar page for next year. The pumpkin image is from Inkadinkadoo. I stamped it with Versamark on vellum, embossed it with gold, and colored on the backside with Copic markers. The image panel is popped up on foam squares.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. And I hope you all can enjoy this holiday season without too much stress!!

Punches and Versamark Stamping

I was looking for a punch one day a few weeks ago and found some punches that I took out to use "at a later date." Well, here are two cards that I made with my pieces. I have a few more pieces, but I don't know when I'll get to using them on cards. We're going to be very busy for about a month. Both punches are from Martha Stewart and are many years old. And, on both cards, I used background stamps and Versamark ink. The sentiment on this first one is popped up with foam squares.

I'm pretty sure that this sentiment stamp is from Gina K.

Turquoise Christmas

Another Christmas card for today. It came about because I noticed my Washi tape on my table and saw the snowflakes on the turquoise and thought I should use it. Also, I came across the "swoosh of paint" stamp and wanted to use that, also. The swoosh and the sentiment are from Gina K. The ornament and branch stamp is from Inkadinkado. I wish I had stamped it slightly lower, but it will do.

Birthday Wish for a Friend

Another version of Saturday's card. This time I put the cut piece over the stamping and coloring. The floral stamp is from Inkadinkado and I colored it with Copic markers. I stamped the background with an Altenew stamp. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

Tri-Square Thinking of You

I watched a Jennifer McGuire video with "spotlighting." I didn't like the way mine was turning out, so I went back to this version - similar to some I've done in the past! The stamp is from Inkadinkado and I colored it with Copic markers and cut it with a Papertrey Ink die. Each square is three thicknesses. I added them to the cardstock that they were cut out of, after trimming it down. The sentiment is from Altenew.

March Calendar Page

Well, it's March!! So, here is my calendar page. The kite is from Stampin' Up! and the sentiment is from Inkadinkado. I did the tiny bit of coloring with Copics and added the white dots with a white Posca pen.

Thank You

One more card parts card. The red circle, the white flowery die-cut piece and the sentiment were all in my book of parts. I combined the circle and the flowers, and I colored the open areas on the sentiment, which I THINK is from Inkadinkado - wood-mounted.

Baby Boy Cards - Part Two

And here are the last three baby cards I made for our neighbor. The shoes on this one are stickers.

I cut out the giraffe for this one and mounted it on foam squares.
