Sending a Whole Lot of Love
I saw a card with basically this layout on Liz's blog a little bit ago, and this is my version. (Hers was 5 x 7, I believe.) The butterfly stamp and the sentiment are from Gina K. I added a few rhinestones, also from Gina K.

Birthday and Sympathy
Here are two more cards that I made using marker-to-rubber-stamp method. I used gold on this first birthday card, and black on the sympathy card. The sentiment is five layers of die-cuts.

More Paint Samples
I love the color of this patterned paper, and it matched so nicely with some of our paint samples. I have four more backgrounds ready to finish into cards, but this is what I have for now. This first one features a die-cut paint sample and a Gina K stamp.

Sympathy
I finally had a little time and made these simple cards with my newest Gina K kit. For this first one, I used an oval stencil and ink-blended the background. Then I stamped the silhouette stamp on it. I used a stitched border die to cut out the panel and matted it with black. The sentiment is from the same set and was stamped and die cut and popped up.
For this one, I thought "why not just cut out the oval from some patterned paper." So, same card but with the die-cut oval. I stamped the image on the panel first, then added the oval and stamped again.
Hopefully, I'll get to have more time for creating, but it's not looking great. I had a great time with friends, though, on our getaway. I'm still catching up!

Super-Simple Pet Sympathy
The next-to-the-last embossed background from my parts. I made a super-simple card for the loss of a pet with it. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and is popped up.

Thinking of You
I pulled out a couple of dies to use that I hadn't used for awhile. Here is the first one. I used ivory for this card. I matted the die-cut panel with green and added it to the ivory cardbase. I used a Gina K stamp for the sentiment and matted with the same color and popped it up. I think this would work for a guy. Pretty simple.

Turquoise Sympathy
We needed a sympathy card, and here is what I made. Nothing particularly special, but I think it's pretty enough. I used a set from Gina K - polyglaze image and sentiment to foil (with silver), stencils to color the image, and dies to cut them both out. They are, of course, popped up. I added some patterned paper on the left side and a thin strip of silver alongside it. It's really hard to see the foiling, so here is a little bit better view.

Letting the Paper Do the Work :-)
This paper has been in my possession for many years. Such a simple card - trim it down to fit a standard card and add the matted sentiment - from Gina K! I made two of them.

Sending Love
Here is the other card I made with the same image as yesterday's card. It's from Gina K and the sentiment is from the same set. I again colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. I added a little butterfly from my card parts. It was just a little bit too open in that space.

Simple Sympathy
The flower was in my card parts. It's from Gina K and done with stamps, die and stencils. The sentiment is from Gina K, also, I believe. I added nail head stickers. The flower is on a die-cut rectangle left-over.

Two Miscellaneous Cards
The flowers on this first card are from Gina K - stamps, stencils and dies. The sentiment is also from Gina K. The big flower and sentiment are popped up. I added a thin strip of purple and also black above the patterned panel.

Same Layout - Eight Times
My friend, Vicki, posted a card with this layout. (The post is from July 31.) I made eight of them. They are all here, as no two of them are identical. (Very similar - yes, but not quite the same.) The sentiments all came from my card parts. Some Gina K and some Stampin' Up! I believe. Sorry about the placement of the cards! I can't get blogger to put them where I want them!

Sympathy Flower
This card started out with a completely different image. I had another piece leftover from the Brutus Monroe class, but just didn't like the way it ended up looking here. The sentiment, the layout and the background (slightly shimmery) were all done for the other image. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. The die-cut flower and leaf were done with Altenew dies. I made them (and several others) in January and I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've used one of them. The flower is popped up.
