I stole about ten minutes yesterday and made this card. I made it for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge, which this week is to use stickers or rub-ons. You can find the challenge here.
I used a new die that I bought from my friend, Vicki, who had purchased two of them. It's from Papertrey Ink. It cuts all three squares at one time. I used a piece from my "card parts" pile - the purple background piece. It was already embossed with a Quickutz embossing folder and also scored with my Scor-Pal. You can't see either of those things very well in the photo. (Edited to add: If you click on the photo, you can at least see the embossing and scoring better.) The flowers are from Martha Stewart and the sentiment, stamped with Eggplant Envy ink from Stampin' Up!, is from The Paper Company.
Stay tuned for part two of this card for tomorrow's post:)
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

love the simplicity of this card but yet it has such an elegance to it with the scoring and the background you tell us about (which we can't see). We all need these cards for TONS of occasions. TY for sharing and for the inspiration to make more of these tyeps of cards. You are very talented!! ekc
Great CAS card LO with many possibilities for card production and you can see the scoring & scallops if you click on the photo! LOVE PTI's dies too -- wish I had more!!!
Pretty card. Don't you love that die? I have it also and it is really a handy one to have since I can never cut three squares evenly
That's gorgeous, Lynette - I love the "triptych" effect of that dye, and the colour scheme is lovely.
So pretty love the purple frame!
How lovely - and useful that die is going to be; I can see loads of possibilities. I love the fresh daisies. Hope you get another 10 minutes in your swag bag tomorrow!
What a lovely card!
