Today's Flutter By Wednesday challenge is to use white on white - always an elegant look. You are to use only white, except you may color your image. Please be sure to use a butterfly or a fairy on your creations and then link them up to the Flutter By Wednesday blog.
For my card, I started by using an embossing folder for the background. I stamped my butterfly image three times across a piece of cardstock. I mounted the butterfly panel on foam squares. I'm not sure because my stamps are in my other house, but I THINK the butterfly is from Inkadinkado.
Our houses are coming right along. We were SOOOOO fortunate to find an awesome painter. He is painting our entire new house (except for the stamping room, which is already done.) He is also working on our current home. There has never been a ceiling in the downstairs bathroom and the furnace room has been unfinished. He is remedying those situations for us, too. He is amazing, truly, and so very reasonably priced. Our house should be ready to list next week. I'm hoping so, at least.

Very pretty card. You do such a wonderful job with white on white cards. Sounds like the new house will have that lived in feeling very soon!
I love how you do white on white! It always looks classy.
I bet you can't wait to be all settled in your new home and have the current house sold!
So pretty. Great embossing and fun design. Glad things are moving along at both houses.
This is a lovely card. The combination of embossing and stamped butterflies is beautiful!
Lynette - great card - love that embossing folder!
Glad to hear you are getting things done - in the old and new house - but know it will be nice to have it all behind you!

I need to use that embossing folder. It makes a quick card. I saw your cute card on the FBW site this morning. :)
love the pop of black with the butterflies at the top nicely done.
That is a wonderful embossing folder Lynette, gorgeous white on white card, love the butterfies too.

Those butterflies are so sweet! I also love the embossing!
Beautiful!! I really like the layout of this card! Fabulous!
Oooh Lynette, you are creating again! And in your new stamping room! How exciting is that??? It's awesome just how quickly you've got going again. Of course, you had your priorities absolutely right - blow the rest of the house getting painted, kitchen organised etc. etc. You got your stamping room sorted FIRST lol! Just how it should be. Lovely cards you've made, too.
Thanks for your lovely comment and I'm so glad you like my new album cover. It's turned out better than I could have expected and I'm very pleased with it. It will be such fun filling the album now! I'm surprised just how many I've already done, but people are designing new patterns all the time so the job will never be finished. Suits me!
I'm feeling a lot better today, thank you. It's up and down and not always predictable (i.e. I know what will happen if I overdo things but sometimes I get bad days for no reason at all!) I'm going to a craft show next week and it will probably take me a week to get over it but it will be Worth It.

Thanks for giving me another idea for this amazing embossing folder! The black and white is so classic!
wonderful card and I really like how the butterflies are lined up along the top
What a sweet WOW card...I really like the simplicity of the LO, it works well with the image.

That is so cool Lynette! I love the black and white butterfly panel. Love that embossed sentiment.
I could just gasp every time I see one of your CAS cards! You have such a gift! I'm sure it will be nice when you get your other house sold. Should take some of the crunch out of buying a new place. It's so fun to see things shaping up, isn't it?
