I used the same embossing folder on this card as my last one. For this one, I inked up the folder with my yellow ink and added the brown centers on the folder with a brown marker before embossing. I matted with brown and added brown ribbon. The sentiment is part of a stamp from a Stampin' Up! set. It's actually next in my stack to use, but since it's sentiments, I'm not going to make myself use them all. I stamped this using the same brown marker as the flower centers, sponged the same yellow around the edge before removing from the die (I used Spellbinders dies for the sentiment and its matting) and mounted on foam squares.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

As always a beautiful card!
I love the embossing folder that you used to make this card. You always design beautiful cards, especially when you use the Embossing folders.

This technique of inking the embossing folder is one I am going to have to try, Lynnette. Can you use any sort of ink pad for this? I have loads of distress inks - would they work? I love the subtle colour scheme of this one. The last one you did was lovely, too - a great use for a "failed" photograph! It just shows it doesn't pay to throw ANYTHING out!
Thanks for your lovely comment, and yes, we had such a nice time out in the sunshine. I get such pleasure out of small things and I love looking back on our outings. Hospital appointment tomorrow, when I should be told when my chemo begins...

That is so cool! It actually looks like a die cut for the flowers.
Thanks for your advice re distress ink, Lynette, and for your good wishes and kind thoughts about my treatment.

This embossing folder is amazing! What a beautiful card. I love the browns. So warm and nice for the daisies.
