I almost wasn't willing to post this card, but it's all I've got. I've just have had NO time in my stamping room, for one reason or another - or many. I actually just went down there to sit for a minute or two yesterday and found this card ready to be photographed. So, I thought I would go with it.
The iris image is by Penny Black. I stamped it on kraft (one last scrap that I had found) with Versamark and embossed with clear powder. I colored it with Copics. The yellow (slightly speckled) cardstock was also in my scrap pile. I decided I really should use some of my edge punches and also my Scor-Pal, so I did:) The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink, again embossed with clear embossing powder. It is matted and mounted on Pop Dots.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Funny how you hesitated to post it and I think it's so pretty! Of course, I love the yellow, and the iris is so graceful and lovely. I hope you get some stamping time soon. It's good for the soul!
Very nice!
That is beautiful, Lynette! I'm ready for real flowers. I just noticed that my tulips are through the ground but no signs of a bloom so hope they will be OK.
Very nice!
I love how you always turn 'scraps' of paper into such beautiful cards. I can always find inspiration from your posts.
I love penny black stamps and you always do them proud. I do know what you mean about not willing to post something. I've always figured it was my craft journal so it was really for me so I could look back. I find it surprising that other people actually wanted to look at stuff that I'd made!
