I had been looking through my brass stencils the other day, so they were on my mind. When I saw "holly" I immediately thought of this stencil. I embossed it with my BIGkick, rather than hand-embossing it. So much easier! I matted it with red and mounted on foam squares. The patterned paper is from a Recollections matstack that I've had for years. I matted that with red, also.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

This is really pretty! That brass stencil embossed beautifully. I have a couple of brass stencils, and I should dig them out to see if I can use them on a card. Haven't thought of them in years. Thanks for the inspiration!
Your brass Noel with holly stencil is so pretty Lynette. Great idea to emboss using your BigKick!! Looks so pretty framed in red and mounted over the pretty holly paper. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas!
your embossing looks wonderful framed by the pretty holly paper. I love your layout and red framing. thanks for joining us at CAS Christmas
This challenge sure is right up your alley, Lynette! What a pretty CAS card design with two of my favorite things -- designer paper and embossing. Brilliant idea to run the stencil through your Big Kick! Sheesh, I'd never have given up my brass stencils if I'd known about embossing folders and die cutting at the time. That's what I get for continually clearing out my room, sigh. But I shudder to think how much stuff I'd have if I didn't clear it out once in a while -- eek!
What a pretty stenciled Noel, Lynette! It's a perfect fit for the holly paper! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Christmas!
I have that same brass stencil - I haven't used it for years and really feel inspired to after seeing your lovely card. It looks great embossed like that and bordered in red - and the paper behind it is so pretty! Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Christmas!
I just love the embossing on your card! Super pretty!
