This is great! I like to make music-themed masculine cards to donate, too. With a die-cut and a sentiment I can make them pretty quickly. I like your idea of stenciling behind the sentiment. It adds some nice interest and focus.

The musical notes are really nice. I love something like this with birds and now I'm making a mental note. I like how you stenciled with the fade out top and bottom. This sure makes a perfect card for your musical friend!
