For some reason, I thought of the mulberry paper that I have. I have rarely used it, but I dug it out yesterday and started on this card. I finished it up this morning when I couldn't sleep. I used white for this one, but I have several other colors. I used another die-cut, layered flower from Altenew that I had made in January. I made the mulberry paper into an oval shape and cut out an oval to place it on. Then I embossed the green layer with a Gina K folder and matted that with purple. I mounted the flower and the sentiment, also from Gina K, on foam squares. I wish the "tattered" edges of the mulberry paper showed up better in the photo, but you know how that goes.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

The mulberry paper adds such nice texture to your card front. I've had the odd piece now and again to play with, but I've never been sure how to best use it. I like the way you put it over the darker background of the oval cutout. I looked closely and could see the tattered edges. Neat card!
I have not thought of mulberry paper in ages. I probably still have some. It was fun to work with. Nice way to add it to your card.
