I had a friend over to play on Friday, and here are three cards that I made. Nothing different - I've probably had cards nearly identical to each of these - but here they are, anyway. This first one has one of my favorite flowers and leaves - from Taylored Expressions. The flower and leaves had been stamped, colored and die-cut a little while ago. I had two sets, so I made two of these cards. The sentiment is from Gina K. I added a thin gold metallic strip sticker beside the patterned paper. The flower itself and the sentiment are mounted on foam squares.
This one was done with a Gina K stencil set. The sentiment is die-cut, along with its shadow. The sentiment is popped up.
For this one, I just used the ink that was already on my blending brushes for the coloring. Then I used a black ink pad to rub over the de-bossed side (that I had colored on.) The sentiment had been die-cut and I added a few more layers to it.
It was a fun day with Bonnie - hi there! :-)
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

These are all so pretty. I really love the stencil set you used for the purple flowers. It fills the card front so perfectly.
Never downplay your ability to use classic designs and make beautiful cards, Lynette! I love the classics and am impressed by your coloring on all of these. That last one is really striking! Hugs, Darnell
Wow. Wow. And Wow! All of them are beautiful. The top one is my favorite! I love the simple layout and the way the flower is placed. Nice job and fun day!
