Wow, time flies!! Life has been busy, for sure. I DID finish up my calendars, though, so that makes me very happy. They are all ready for the wrapping paper.
For this card (using extra pieces from my calendars) I used Gina K stamps and dies and colored with Copic markers. The background was embossed with an Anna Griffin/Cuttlebug folder and then rubbed with a white pigment ink. The sentiment was stamped and die cut, and I also die cut many extras and layered them for added dimension. The flower and leaves are popped up, too.
We are definitely enjoying the beautiful fall weather here in Minnesota!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

So pretty! I love the rich colors
That is the most fun and whimsical sunflower and it reminds me I have one similar in my digi box. It's been so long... I'll have to take another look. It's probably nothing like it, ha! Your embossed background looks amazing cut in brown and brushed over with white. Happy beautiful fall in Minnesota!
Your pretty sunflower is indicative of the great weather we've been having lately. I just need to spend a little more time outside so I can actually say I enjoyed it. Maybe tomorrow... I love that embossed background. I think that was one that lots of people were searching for a few months ago.
Such a pretty card. Nice shading on the flower and leaves. Pretty background too!
Gorgeous card Lynette, the lovely embossing makes a great background for the beautiful sunflower.
