Just thought I'd update you on our house situation. We got a call on Wednesday evening saying that we would be getting our new house, but we'd have to close by December 27! Quite a shock to us, as we weren't expecting to hear if we got it until about mid-January, and then have another 30 days to close. So, I guess we'll own two homes for a while! Looking on the bright side of things, we'll have more time to pack, more time to finish getting our current house ready to put on the market, more time to get our new house ready to move into (it needs some painting and appliances), etc. We'll also have a place to put our "extras" while we declutter to get our house listed.
I already packed up a lot of my stamping things. That was one thing that has been suggested to me - having a very full stamping area is probably not the best way to showcase that part of the house:( So, I'll keep the basics and hopefully still have a little time for creating. Not sure how much I'll be doing, though, as I'll need to be packing and weeding through our stuff, along with getting ready for Christmas! I hope you'll stick with me.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Oh Lynette what busy, exciting time you are in for! Congrats of getting you new home.
So happy for you Lynette!! What a great way to end this year and start a new one! Take time to rest and enjoy tho!
First of all.. Thank you for keeping us informed about your happenings. I look at your Blog every day and have always been impressed with your work.
CONGRATS on your new home and I'll be thinking about you, and saying to myself...I am sooo glad its not me packing all that STUFF. HA HA.
With Love Judi
Sounds like a lot of work to me but more power to you! I'm glad you are excited about it and that you are going to get a house you are pleased with.
Congratulations. Busy busy time. Sad about having to pack up your stamping stuff. You can look at it as your very own Limited Supply Challenge. Hee.
My thoughts are with you, Lynette. Moving and selling houses is not fun in my opinion. I had two houses when I met my husband... I was just having one built. So when we decided to get married that left me with two houses to sell not to mention I had to move across the country and buy a house out here! Long story, but for a while I had three houses. When the new one was finished I sold it first, then after moving all my stuff from the original home to the new place across the country I finally sold the second house. And it certainly felt good to only have one to worry about! LOL! Best wishes with all your transitions!!!
Oh, my! You're going to be a very busy girl. Too bad you have to be without your stamping stuff, but how exciting to be getting your new house!
Hi Lynette, thanks for your lovely comment! I don't know about clever - I think I just have a weird quirky imagination lol!!
Thought I'd already commented on this thread but if it got lost, glad you got your jury service over and done with and hope it wasn't too stressful, and that your house move will go through without a hitch. What a lot going on for you before Christmas!
