More card parts. I've been having so much fun with them - and you'll be seeing many more!
These flowers were stamped with Rubbernecker stamps a couple years ago. I had a smudge on them, so I trimmed them down very near the image and cut a mat to go around them. They are mounted on foam squares. The stamped and embossed white piece (Darice Wire Fence) was also in my card parts, as was the very thin piece of green. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.
We had our ninth annual "Group Gathering" in Des Moines last weekend. Oh, such an awesome time we have! From left to right: Vicki, me, Kris, Terri, Harriet, Georgia and Sheri. We meet on Sunday in Ankeny, Iowa at Applebee's for lunch and then head over to Memory Bound, then perhaps to Michael's and/or JoAnn's. Then to our hotel and then the Machine Shed for dinner. Monday and Tuesday we spend at Outstamping Designs/Heirlooms by Design in Valley Junction. Harriet comes home with me for a couple days, too! We were so productive this year! Can't wait for next year!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

How fun to get together with fellow stampers! Love your flowers on your card Lynette. How clever of you to find a way to use them spite the smudge. Smarty.
A great idea to use up your "card parts" on new projects, Lynette. I have also decided it's high time I started using a lot of stash I've had hanging around for a long time, and making the little gifts for my fellow chemo-ites on the treatment unit is a great way to put these odds and ends to good use! What a good idea to trim a smudged piece down - it just goes to show that you should NEVER throw anything away lol!!
What a happy looking group of ladies. I am sure you had a great time together.

I think this is the best part of stamping - getting together with fellow stampers and having FUN! Good for all of you keeping in going for such a long time!!
Lynette what a wonderful experience to get together and enjoy some treasured moments with friends and creating. I envy you all. Glad to know you are having a great time. Take care. Raquel in Colorado
Such beautiful, delicate flowers! Love the pretty pink and the awesome embossing folder. Glad you were finally able to share them in such a lovely combination. What a fun time with your group! Sounds like some fabulous places to shop. We have one paper craft store in town and it is a dream to visit there. I don't know what I'd do if I had more than one choice!
Nine years later and all of you lovely women are still meeting once a year to see one another and do lots of stamping together! Love your card Lynette. :)
