The next stamp set on my way to using all of my Stampin' Up! sets. This one is called "Snow Swirled." It consists of six stamps - this tree, this greeting, a sentiment for the inside of cards, and three snowflakes.
For this card, I stamped the tree with Versamark ink and embossed with detail gold embossing powder. I trimmed around the edge and mounted it on foam squares. I used the gold embossing for the greeting, too, and also mounted it on foam squares. The matting layers are shimmery gold paper. I embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

I think you finally hit a Stampin' Up set that I own! :) A few years back I signed up as a hobby demo with SU and bought a ton of stuff for quite a while. I have not used this set yet. I need to do what you are doing not only with the SU stuff I collected, but with ALL of my other supplies. It's so easy to buy the stuff, but not so easy to use it. Seems I always plan on starting to make cards regularly, but never follow through. I follow the Scarlet O'Hara plan of action... "I'll think about that tomorrow." But as they say... tomorrow never comes.
Judging by the looks of this pretty tree I know I'm going to love the whole set. I just have a thing about swirly curly patterns, especially when there are leaves in it somewhere. All the gold and the embossed panel are fantastic!
Very elegant with the gold embossing!
I love the idea of challenging yourself to use all your Stampin' Up sets. I should try that! Your cards are beautiful!
