Friends #3
I wasn't going to use this cute stamp (from the Stampin' Up! set called "Friends"), because I was too lazy to color it! :) So, I thought about just stamping it and showing it, but then decided that I could use it this way. I stamped it with Versamark ink on pink cardstock, then embossed it with detail white embossing powder. I cut it with a Memory Box stitched rectangle die. I matted with a thin border of white, then cut another pink layer with a slightly bigger stitched rectangle die. The sentiment was cut out of silver metallic cardstock and has been sitting around on my table for a few months.

Very pretty!! That is such a cute stamp!! I don't have good enough eyesight to color detailed images so I seem to just stay away from them. Seeing your card reminds me there are more ways than coloring!! I see so many beautifully colored cards all the time I hate that I can't see to do it. But, I still love making cards and need to keep reminding myself that coloring is not the only way to make pretty cards.
Perfect solution for when you don't want to color, and because of all the detail in the stamp it turned out perfectly cute! Plus, you finally got that sentiment off your desk. Looks very pretty, Lynette!

What a great way to use your stamp. I, too, shy away from stamps that require lots of coloring. It just takes so much time!! I really like how this one turned out, though, so I've got to keep this idea in mind.
